BHTA Air Transport Advice Updates Needed to Support Thomas Cook Passengers

Last Updated on 25/02/2020 by steveperry

British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is working closely with airports and airlines to assist returning customers with mobility products that may have been affected by the liquidation of Thomas Cook.

BHTA has an Air Transport Advice section on its website giving details of a wide range of mobility product specifications to assist airlines and ground handling teams to help customers through airports.

We urgently need mobility manufacturers and importers to help check the database information while a number of different airlines carry passengers and their products back to the UK.

If you are a mobility manufacturer or importer and your product information is not listed on the BHTA website please contact  steve.perry@bhta.com  and we will arrange for an excel spreadsheet to be sent to you for completion and inclusion on the Air Transport database.

Passengers requiring further information about their return travel to the UK can contact the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) at the website below.

A dedicated support service is being provided by The Civil Aviation Authority to assist customers currently overseas and those in the UK with future bookings. Please visit: thomascook.caa.co.uk for further information.
