Laurie brings over 20 years of first-hand experience within design, engineering, manufacturing, and compliance functions. Specialising in medical technology, Laurie has a deep knowledge of device development, quality systems, and regulatory affairs in all sizes of business, across a wide range of device types, classifications, and technologies. As founder and director of RED Medtech, Laurie delivers practical medical device consulting – helping innovation led companies; delivering development project leadership and management, supporting technical teams to improve operational efficiencies.
A particular area of expertise is the new public procurement requirements including social value, net-zero, labour standards, and modern slavery. Sarah works proactively with clients to implement and provide solutions to ensure they are able to successfully win tender bids. She is also an experienced tender bid writer, and ISO 9001 & 14001 internal auditor.
