Etac R82, part of the respected Scandinavian Etac Group, has successfully delivered its largest ever assistive equipment showcase alongside CPD-accredited manual handling seminars at the OT Show (Stand G30, NEC, 27-28 November).
The latest OT Show witnessed the most spacious Etac R82 stand ever at this event which was custom-built to provide a welcoming environment for education and demonstrations. Throughout the event presentations were hosted by a range of international specialists who highlighted the latest techniques for effective movement and support of disabled adults and children. Visiting Occupational Therapists were able to gain knowledge to enhance everyday practice and to ensure clients benefit from better outcomes through appropriate product provision. Etac is renowned for a wealth of in-house experts with outstanding clinical knowledge with several product specialists and therapists attending the show from Sweden.

In terms of products, Etac R82 displayed an impressive selection of examples from the Etac, R82, Molift, Immedia, Convaid and Star brands. This holistic showcase provided ergonomically designed solutions for mobility, seating, sit-to-stand transfers, hoisting, in-bed management, toileting, bathing and independent living. Attendees were able to discuss individual client needs with the strong team of product specialists and discover the latest innovations within the Etac portfolio. Single handed care was a common topic along with long term strategies that deliver sustainable, cost effective care. The durability and efficient re-issuing of Etac products was highlighted to illustrate the long-term value gained by specifying solutions from this established specialist.
