Handicare’s Support for Dealers Reaches New Heights

Last Updated on 10/02/2020 by steveperry

Leading stairlift manufacturer Handicare unveiled its latest product developments and an exciting new package of support for its UK-wide network of dealers at its annual conference and awards last week at the De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor.

A year ago Handicare’s commercial lead for stairlifts outside the UK, Clare Brophy promised dealers a comprehensive five step plan, when the company reported a 5% increase in trade sales. This year’s figures show further progress towards the company’s 2020 goal of being the UK market leader for stairlifts.

Integral to Handicare’s ambitious plan is the continued evolution of its new 1100 straight stairlift, launched at the end of last year, and the latest version of its photo survey tool Photo Survey 4D (PS4D). Both were showcased at the event with demonstrations hosted by Handicare Product Managers Dick Beerepot (Handicare 1100 straight stairlift) and Jesper Beers (PS 4D).

“We’re really excited about the next 12 months and how the new 1100 stairlift and PS4D will help to make our partners’ lives easier and their businesses more profitable,” said Handicare National Sales Manager Paul Stockdill, who hosted the conference and provided a business update.

During the day, Handicare unveiled an incentive and support package for dealers The Everest Challenge, designed to help the business and its partners achieve unprecedented sales success.

“We’re challenging our dealers to take their sales to new heights and assisting their journey with a range of commercial training and marketing support designed to help them proactively find more business in a marketplace which is growing in size every year,” added Paul.

New President and CEO Staffan Ternström, who joined the business in August, Peter Slack, Group Executive Vice President Operations, Companion Sales & Marketing Director David Harrison, newly appointed Customer & Field Service Director Patrick Dignan, and Jason Skelding, Business Development Manager, completed the line-up of presenters at the conference.

In the evening, Handicare celebrated and rewarded its highest performing dealers at a black tie dinner with special guest speaker Ant Middleton, well known for his fighting spirit and survival techniques.
