When you join the BHTA, you become a member of one of the UK’s largest dedicated healthcare association, run democratically for the members by the members: you can have your say with the BHTA.
The BHTA represents small, medium and large companies, organised into sections, covering most sectors of the industry. This unique sectional structure provides a platform for all companies to have an effective voice within BHTA and, through our Association, to influence the development of healthcare policies in the UK.
At the heart of our association is our Code of Practice, which sets out the standards that all members must meet to demonstrate best practice in their business activities.
The Code of Practice is recognised as the UK healthcare industry standard, and means that member companies trade ethically and professionally and is approved under the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme run by the Trading Standards Institute.
Alongside its member companies, some brethren organisations are also registered with the BHTA. While brethren organisations’ rules do not permit these companies to join a membership body, many commit to the BHTA’s Code of Practice on a similar basis to BHTA members.
Every week, we’ll send you by email “Today @ BHTA”, the latest of what is happening within the industry and the Association.
Free subscription to the “BHTA Bulletin”, a lively glossy magazine of photos and articles: news, views, opinions, updates, industry and parliamentary issues.
