BHTA members involved in postural management equipment, seating, standing, lying, toileting, and showering support solutions are encouraged to review a new tender opportunity from Business Services Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service (BSO PaLS) for the supply and delivery of postural management equipment and accessories.
BSO PaLS is seeking to establish a framework on behalf of Northern Ireland health and social care trusts. The framework will support access to equipment and accessories used as part of 24-hour postural care for adults, children, and young people.
This is an open procedure tender. The framework may be used by the establishing party only, with call-offs made either directly or through secondary competition.
The framework covers Northern Ireland health and social care provision, including Belfast, Northern, South Eastern, Southern, and Western Health and Social Care Trusts.
The framework covers the supply and delivery of postural management equipment and accessories across seated, lying, standing, toileting, and showering support. It includes equipment for adults, children, and young people, with the buyer reserving the right to increase the product range depending on requirements.
The framework is divided into eight lots. Lots 1 and 2 cover seated postural management equipment and accessories for adults, and for children and young people, respectively. Lots 3 and 4 cover lying postural management equipment and accessories for adults, and for children and young people. Lots 5 and 6 cover standing postural management equipment and accessories for adults, and for children and young people. Lots 7 and 8 cover toileting and showering postural management equipment and accessories for adults, and for children and young people.
Each lot has an estimated maximum value of £3,250,000 excluding VAT, and framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
This tender is suitable for suppliers able to provide postural management equipment, accessories, spare parts, product literature, and related goods for use in health and social care settings.
