BHTA members involved in home adaptations, accessibility solutions, and property adaptation works are encouraged to review a new tender opportunity from Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
The council is seeking to appoint up to three contractors to carry out internal and external alterations to council-owned properties within the boundaries of Stoke-on-Trent. The contract is designed to help make council-owned homes more accessible for residents.
This includes level access showers, bathroom alterations, kitchen alterations, door widening, handrail installation, and ramped access to properties.
This tender is suitable for home adaptation contractors, accessibility solution providers, and building contractors able to deliver aids and adaptations works in residential settings.
This is a below-threshold open competition under the Procurement Act 2023. The JCT 2024 Measured Term Contract will be used.
Tenders must be submitted electronically through the ProContract tendering e-portal.
Tenders must be submitted by 12pm on 10 July 2026.
