Tender opportunity: Housing association seeks providers for stair lifts, through floor lifts and hoists

BHTA members involved in accessibility equipment servicing, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment are encouraged to review this new tender opportunity from Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) for lifting equipment across its housing stock.

NCHA is seeking an experienced and competent service provider to support the ongoing servicing, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of lifts and lifting equipment at properties it owns or manages. For BHTA members, the most relevant parts of the opportunity relate to stair lifts, through floor lifts, and hoists.

Contract details

The procurement will use a competitive flexible procedure under the Procurement Act 2023. NCHA has stated that the contract is likely to be split on a 3+3+2 basis.

Eligibility

This tender is suitable for SMEs, as well as larger specialist providers, able to demonstrate the required financial standing and technical ability. NCHA has stated that the minimum turnover requirement will be two times the annual contract value.

Evaluation

At the invitation to tender stage, responses are expected to be assessed on the basis of price at 60 percent and quality at 40 percent, with the quality score including 10 percent social value.
