The local authority is seeking to appoint a suitable service provider to deliver home adaptations for eligible residents across Conwy, helping individuals with chronic conditions or physical disabilities maintain their independence and improve safety and wellbeing within their homes.
The opportunity, referenced CCBC/HAS/2026, covers the provision of home adaptation services across the Conwy County Borough area. The contract is valued at approximately £752,100 (excluding VAT) and will run for an initial three-year period from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with an option to extend for a further two years, potentially until March 2031.
This procurement falls under a below-threshold open competition within the light touch regime of the Procurement Act 2023. The opportunity is open to a range of organisations, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) operating in the health, social care, and housing adaptations sectors.
