BHTA members involved in home adaptations and accessibility solutions are encouraged to review Denbighshire County Council’s tender for its Minor Adaptations Partnership (MAP).
The service supports people to remain safely in their own homes and communities, reducing the need for more intensive health and care interventions.
The contract covers minor adaptation works in the Conwy and Denbighshire area. Work may include handrails and stair rails in various sizes and materials, doorsteps, key safes, and bathroom adaptations. This list is not exhaustive.
This tender is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) able to deliver the required adaptation works.
The council is running a below-threshold open competition. Tenders will be evaluated on quality, weighted at 80 percent of the overall score, and price, weighted at 20 percent.
Within the quality score, delivery of the contract accounts for 40 percent, staff for 30 percent, partnership working for 20 percent, and community benefits for 10 percent. These criteria together make up the quality element, which contributes 80 percent of the overall evaluation.
Interested suppliers should register or log in to Proactis, select the relevant opportunity, and register their interest to access the tender documents and submit a response electronically. New users should select Denbighshire County Council when registering.
Tenders must be submitted by 12pm on 6 November 2026. The deadline for enquiries is 12pm on 30 October 2026.
Tenders may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than submissions in English.
