Scope

The service includes specialist wheelchair maintenance, rehabilitation engineering, and assistive technology support. This includes equipment assessment, custom seating design, wheelchair repairs and modifications, assistive communication support, and ongoing maintenance.

The contract is intended to support service users’ independence and mobility, and is suitable for suppliers able to deliver wheelchair maintenance, specialist seating, rehabilitation engineering, assistive technology support, and related mobility services.

Evaluation

The evaluation weighting is quality 60 percent, price 30 percent, and social value 10 percent.
