The trust is seeking a provider to support its specialist cranio-maxillofacial prosthetics clinic and laboratory through outsourced somato prosthetic services, including occasional referrals for digit, hand, and smaller body silicone prostheses.

Contract details

This is an open procedure under a light touch regime. The notice states that the contract may also include additional purchases during the contract term. Most referrals handled by the trust are for head and neck applications; however, this requirement concerns occasional requests for somato type devices linked to the trust’s specialist reconstructive hand surgery service. It is suitable for suppliers able to provide digit, hand, and smaller body silicone prostheses within an NHS specialist service setting.

Evaluation

Evaluation weighting: Price 50 percent, technical 40 percent, social value 10 percent.
