BHTA members involved in home adaptations, accessible bathrooms, and independent living solutions may be interested in a new Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council framework supporting residents with disabilities to live more independently at home.
Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council is establishing a framework for domestic bathroom adaptations and intends to appoint two contractors. No minimum volume or value of work is guaranteed.
Works will include the supply and installation of level access showers and shower over baths in domestic properties. Associated works may include the installation of sanitary ware, grab rails, shower seats, shower curtains, and related accessibility features.
Call-off orders will be allocated between the appointed contractors on a rotational basis, without further competition. The framework will be used by Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council only. The notice states that the framework has an unlimited maximum number of suppliers and no supplier fee will be charged.
This tender is suitable for SMEs and contractors that can deliver domestic bathroom adaptation works, accessible shower installations, and associated accessibility equipment.
The evaluation weighting is quality 90 percent and social value 10 percent.
