Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking to commission a supplier to support employees with specific medical conditions or disabilities. The contract includes the provision of specialist workstation chairs and equipment, alongside advice such as display screen equipment (DSE) assessments.
This is a below-threshold open competition for goods under the Procurement Act 2023. The tender covers the supply of specialist workstation chairs, equipment, and associated advice, including DSE assessments, for employees of the authority with specific medical conditions or disabilities.
This tender is suitable for SMEs, as well as other suppliers able to provide specialist seating, ergonomic workstation equipment, and assessment-related advice for workplace accessibility and employee support.
The contract will be delivered in South West Wales.
The award criteria are cost and quality. Cost is weighted at 60 percent, and quality is weighted at 40 percent.
