As official sponsor, TGA, a leading mobility scooter specialist, will be offering the opportunity to test, trial and compare its complete range of products on the Naidex Mobility Test Track, NEC, 26-27 March, stand N11113 (opposite TGA’s stand N11112).
Now in its 45th year, Naidex is one of the largest independent living and rehabilitation shows in the UK and showcases the latest mobility products and services to consumers, healthcare professionals and the trade. TGA is one of the most established exhibitors at the show and will be proudly displaying its complete range of award-winning mobility scooters, wheelchairs, wheelchair powerpacks and powerchairs. Alongside its product showcase TGA will be hosting the popular Naidex Mobility Test Track which provides a unique test drive experience in a safe and enjoyable location. Visitors will be able to drive all types of mobility products, irrespective of brand, so they can assess suitability and discuss individual needs with the many specialist advisors on hand. As a leading champion in road safety, TGA will be highlighting its latest training and awareness programmes that aim to increase confidence and awareness of safe mobility scooter and powerchair driving.
Building on the popularity of the 2018 TGA test track, this major show feature will include ramps and obstacles which simulate the everyday situations a scooter driver may face on the road and pavement. By manoeuvring around the course visitors will be able to test suspension, steering, braking and controls – a vital opportunity to discover the type of product that is ideal for individual needs. TGA advisors will be offering the latest tips from the Highway Code and everyone who completes the course will receive a TGA-accredited ‘Safe Scoot’ certificate and exclusive product offers.
Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director comments: “As test track sponsor for the third year, we believe this feature is so important for end users. It reflects our ethos for a structured and thorough assessment process that ensures the right product is supplied to the right person. This is essential for maximised independence, safety and peace of mind. Our specialist advisors will be standing by to guide visitors around our unique course – so they experience the ‘TGA driving difference’ in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.”
