BHTA members supplying mobility and daily living equipment are encouraged to review a new framework opportunity for Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI).
The Regional Business Services Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service is managing the procurement on behalf of the Belfast, Northern, South Eastern, Southern, and Western Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland.
The framework covers 13 product lots. The two lots relevant to BHTA members are Lot 10, mobility, and Lot 12, daily living equipment.
Other lots cover products including alerting devices, assistive listening devices, and low vision equipment.
The buyer may increase the product range in response to service user requirements. There is no limit on the number of suppliers that can join the framework, and no fee will be charged to suppliers. Contracts may be awarded with or without further competition.

This tender is suitable for SMEs and larger suppliers able to supply and deliver mobility or daily living equipment to health and social care services in Northern Ireland.
Product compliance with the specification and the product datasheet assessment will be evaluated on a pass or fail basis. The scored criteria are price at 90 percent and desirable sustainability criteria at 10 percent.
