Wyre Forest District Council, in partnership with the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner, has released a new tender that may be of interest to BHTA members specialising in home adaptations, accessibility works, and building modifications.
The procurement (Reference: WF/2025/47) covers three lots related to home adaptation works across the Worcester region. The contracts are scheduled to run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months following council review.
Lot 1 – Level Access Showers
Works involving the installation of level access showers to support safe and accessible bathing.
Lot 2 – Ramps
Construction and installation of ramps to improve home access for residents with mobility needs.
Lot 3 – Major Works
Broader home adaptation building works, including structural modifications to support independent living.
These lots may be suitable for BHTA members providing home adaptations, mobility and accessibility installation services, and related construction or refurbishment works.
The tender follows an open procedure and is open to SMEs and VCSEs. Submissions must be made electronically via the Sell2 portal. Associated tender documents are available through the same link.
